Blue Ballers (1) def. BOOOOOM (7)
After nearly winning the previously unthinkable A and B tier double championship last season, BOOOOOM has undergone a pretty sizeable rebuilding process. But on the backs of a number of vets who know what it takes to win, they will take a serious stab at the championship. Too bad they run into a Blue Ballers team that has catapulted into a becoming a top contender. Blue Ballers’ spirit and style triumph.

C is for Party Tier:
You Care Bear (3) def. The Crayons (6)
I’ve long contended that The Crayons are the most underrated team in the CDL. What’s more, their big players know how to make big catches with the game on the line. That said, You Care Bear is a beast of a team and has been the hottest team in the CDL since the most recent round of tiering. You Care Bear edges out The Crayons in what might be the closest final round of the day.

B (not for Party) Tier:
PANDAMONIUM (4) def. Tune Squad (5)
B Tier should prove to be the most interesting of the day, as all 7 (or even 8) teams have a very really chance to make a run. These 2 teams have been going at it for years, usually in the early rounds of A tier. Well they’re going to go at it again in round 1 of Tier B. I predict that Tune Squad edges out Panamonium in the first round only to have the Pandas tear through loser’s bracket en route to a revenge victory in the finals. Look for Pandamonium to make some huge catches down the stretch.

Formerly Known As (1) def. Settlers of Coquitlam (2)
Formerly Known As are probably the strongest throwers our league has seen. Settlers of Coquitlam are smart, experienced, and very dangerous. While I almost always go with brains over brawn, you gotta think that everyone once in a while a team just muscles their way across the finish line. Formerly Known as overcomes and the rest of us spend the next 8 months hearing about it.
